I looked up the definition for pylometric and oh poopy! It's a type of exercise designed to produce fast and powerful movements and anyone who knows me knows I have one speed and that's TURTLE so yea this should be super great fun! NOT =/
I woke up this morning and could barely lean over to put on my sneakers! Not a fun thing when you only did the fit test boys & girls. So I wasn't certain how this was going to be but I prayed through it and when I say pray I mean yelling at Jesus like a charismatic religious freak begging Him to give me supernatural superwoman spider monkey type strength....ok ok not really but I did keep asking for strength to get through it!
Warm up:
Are you freaking kidding me? Time to get our muscles warm and Shaun T's warm ups are my previous form of exercise what the crap?!?! We did a routine with jumping jacks, Heisman things, lots of running etc etc and THEN.....THEN we did it again only faster and THEN again only faster......um this is NOT a warm up so let's call it something else like chubby girl can't breathe~ yea that wasn't that clever sorry. The shirt came off during the warm up just lettin' ya know..
Stretching:
So FINALLY we get to the stretching hallelujah I can catch my breathe however in it was a little yoga and this girl just doesn't do well standing in one position with arms up in the air. Gravity my friends...this chubby girl's hulk arms pull to the ground I just can't hold them up high that long it is only a fact. Oh & I shed the socks at this point too..
Workout:
OMFG- (out of respect for my Jesus I am turning that into Oh my farking gravy) not as dramatic but it will have to do! I kept my own pace because I could just picture me injuring myself second day in I really could. I wanted to do my best to keep proper form and this turtle just doesn't have the speed like AT ALL!! Hopeful but ummm yea.... I didn't shed anymore clothing but I thought about it. Chubby girl working out insanely with sports bra, thongs, and sneakers soooooooo cute! HA HA Not so much! ewwww!! At one point towards the end I just decided to quit early and drink some water and watch the peeps on the dvd and guess what? Some of them quit too!! WAHOO!! LOL But I pushed myself back into the workout and completed it! 0=)
There you have it day 2 done! I should feel great tomorrow!! (Coworkers I may text you to carry me up the stairs) just sayin'
